A company database is only as trustworthy as the person who builds it. That is why you will find here who runs the website, where the data come from, how we work with them and what we deliberately do not do.

kontaktdatenbank.at is run by Martin Adamec as a sole trader, in business since . All prices are final prices. The full provider details under § 5 ECG and the disclosure under § 25 MedienG are in the legal notice.

The data and the website are looked after by one person who has worked with public registers for years. So emails are answered by the person who actually prepares the data. We would rather say openly what is missing from the data than promise completeness we cannot prove.

What we offer

  • Austrian company database: 218,653 records, 209,587 of them with phone, email or website (as of 3 November 2026); source processed so far: Overture Maps, further sources are planned. One-off exports for 21 industries for CRM, postal mailings, market analysis and territory planning, a whole industry from €229, selections by federal state, district or your own filters on request. How the data are created

This is how the Austrian company database is created:

  1. Basic data. Name, address and contact details come so far from the open map data of Overture Maps. OpenStreetMap, public business directories and directories of the chambers of the liberal professions are planned as further sources.
  2. Details published by the businesses themselves (planned). Register number, VAT number, email address and phone are to be added from the legal notice and disclosure on company websites.
  3. Matching and cleaning. We only assign details to a record when characteristics match, standardise formats and remove duplicates.

The Firmenbuch (company register) can be searched individually; bulk queries are only provided under licence (§ 34 FBG), and the register database is protected as a database. We therefore do not download register data in bulk. Details and limits are described on the data sources and methodology page.

What we do not do

  • We do not buy in old lists. The database is based on public sources and company websites, not resold address lists of unclear origin.
  • We do not supply consumer data. The data are B2B only: businesses, self-employed people and institutions.
  • We do not sell lists for marketing emails or marketing calls. In Austria both require prior consent, also towards businesses (§ 174 TKG 2021); an export does not contain it.
  • We do not promise complete accuracy. Sources contain errors, contact details go out of date. We state the data status and coverage and correct reported errors.
  • We do not do your legal check for you. As the buyer, you are responsible for your own use.
